MIA

I have been "missing in action" for quite while. Once again, I am attempting to blog on a regular basis.

I got to stamp with my upline Terri Meehan Friday and it was GREAT!!! I have been in a stamping slump...does that happen to you? This usually happens to me right after the Christmas holiday. And this year it was really bad with the yucky endless snow storms. Anyway, I started to get my stamping mojo back and was able to get samples made for my next class and it feels wonderful! I need to take some pictures  and will post them tomorrow, hopefully!

Retreats are so much FUUNN!!!!!!

I am posting from a scrapbook retreat . I am here with thirteen other crazy papercrafting ladies. I have gotten a lot accomplished. My main goal was to complete a project to donate to March of Dimes. A fellow scrapbooker lost a child born prematurely and she walks every year to raise funds for research. At the retreat, we have a silent auction to help her reach her fundraising goal. This is what I made....

Well, my images are not uploading. I will have to show you later when I get home and can upload from my computer, not this netbook I am using.

I have to apologize for the photography..it's a little washed out, but I really love this card. The sentiment is stamped with Encore gold and embossed with gold. Stunning in real life!

Here's a picture of what I made today. A very quick and easy project using the Big Shot from Sissix and the daisies #2 die. My wheels are turning.I have some other flower dies that I could use to "pretty up" my $1.00 flips flops.
